Who I am
About
I'm a final-year Computer Science student at Vancouver Island University and a Software Developer Intern at InfiniteUp.
My main interests are machine learning, AI systems, and software engineering. I like building projects that sit somewhere between research and real-world use, from computer vision models and Kaggle competitions to small AI agents and full-stack apps.
Recently I've been exploring local-first AI systems, retrieval-augmented generation, and how to move machine learning workflows from experimentation toward deployment.
Current Focus
Machine learning engineering, AI agents, and developer tooling. Recent work includes building a local-first research agent with custom MCP servers, competing in Kaggle competitions, experimenting with LLM workflows, and developing mobile applications at InfiniteUp with Flutter and Dart.

Beyond Code
Outside of software, most of my time goes to training at the gym, reading about physics, mathematics, philosophy, and psychology, and slowly getting better at guitar. Lately I've been especially drawn to explanations of how complex systems work, and to computational ways of understanding them.
